BODY
-Long and Newman fiberglass body (excellent condition). The stock fenders are still included for anyone who prefers the original look over the GT5 style.
-DeTomaso steel front hood, deck lid, and doors (very solid, minor surface rust).
-Precision Proformance GT5 fiberglass front air dam, fenders, side skirts, and mini deck lid spoiler (new).
-All glass included except the rear window.
-Steel DeTomaso headlight buckets (rusted) for converting away from the "GT40" style headlights.
-BBQ grille for the hood, currently uncut (like new).
-Three grille moldings for behind the quarter panel windows (used, solid condition).
-Door handles (used).

-Exterior mirror with spare glass (used).

I'm 6'3" (255 lbs) and I do fit in the car, but due to herniated discs and a failed knee surgery, getting in and out has become difficult — this is the main reason for the sale. When I started the project, I mounted the body about 2" higher relative to the floor. To close that gap, my plan was to set the side skirts at the same height as the front air dam, similar to the HemiPanter look — a look I really like, so it works out well either way.
In the photos, the car may look "lifted," but the coilovers aren't installed yet — there are temporary steel rods in their place, so it's not at its final ride height. I asking 35 000$ CAD (about 25 000$ USD) or 30 000$ CAD (21 500$ USD) without engine and transmission.
The car was originally built and registered in California in 1988, and is currently located near Quebec City, Canada (G0A 4N0). The registration is in my name.
