Agreed. Fact is Bret Bowers is sharp also, builds a great engine etc just has gone through a bad patch and must have hit bottom as now he is stealing others hard earned cash to try and stay alive. His web site is off, clients ripped for potential $50K or more that I am aware of and now ripping suppliers, when you start doing that then you are generally at the end of your rope.

He can be slow but he'll build you one hell of a engine. If you have any problem with Bret, Call him, he has been answering his phone and I THINK he will make it right. He is an engine builder and he has found someone to help him with the business end of running the shop. I'm going to chaulk this experience up to his growing pains. I'll let you know how it goes. My engine is supposed to be ready to ship any day. We can post the positive on here and give credit when it's due. BEST OF LUCK TO ALL, Larry / southern prizefighter

Well I am very glad that you even got your engine so that is great. But on June 12 th 2007 you said that he was shipping it any day and you got it yesterday thats 47 days later but I guess he was right about any day. And then you have to try to find out what you have on and in the engine. That is just over the top. Good luck on getting the info from Brett Bowers.

I was told that it was ready for a bout 6 weeks before my shipper finally picked it up. Then when recieved extras were missing. The engine is great, all bits an pieces for it were good. Larry recieved a picture of his engine and it is missing a stack of stuff, still not recieved and little or no contact from Bret.

Now his web site and phone number are all disconnected so looks like Bret has closed his doors and Larry and enyone elese will need to try and recover their money via legal action.

Atleast if he is closed he can not steal from anyone else.
