Yes, they do have all the standard dome profiles anyone else has.
It is just me. I don't do standard domes in anything unless I like the design.
My dome profile is now seeing applications it can be used in beyond what my original plans were. Like I said, Right now they are doing my dome on a piston for me for using in a conventional head with few changes. The head is the Edlebrock 24 degree fromj Race Flow Development's Curtis Boggs.
If I were to be doing high compression in a big chamber conventional head I would not be using that exact dome profile. I for sure would not use the mountains that everyone else is using though.

how about runnign E85??
i and a friend of mine both run well over 12 to 1 on premium gas
but if you wanna play it safe 11 to 1 max cause you do wanna add timing to the mix to get max power out of it without detonating

hello superstreeter-you and i have a common desire---->to fully understand what big cubic inch chevys like!!!ive heard the larger the size of motor the more sensitive it becomes with compression because a 350 chevy with 11:1 compression has LESS CYLINDER PRESSURE than a 588 with 11:1 compression hence making the 588 more prone for detonation on 93 octane with aluminum heads.camshaft profile(overlap),rod to stroke ratio, incoming air temp, rpm of motor and many other factors dictate what a motor(especially big ones)will run on for compression ratio.so thats why i built my 572 at 10.2:1 compression.my pistons are .005 in the hole(thats what my motor builder said they shoot for-for safety margins) with an off the shelf je flattop piston with the 3cc intake cut out and my dart 355s are milled down to im thinking i remember 110 or 112 cc's.best bet is lay it out on the phone with piston manufacturer of your choice and order a flattop with 3cc intake cutout and mill your block and head(or just head if your motor is all together)to be between 10-10.8:1 compression if you like to be conservative like me---my 2 cents..................by the way i was wondering if you can contact me somehow i dont know how to use this site very well so if you can contact me id appreciate it(curious about your cams personallity!!!!!)

well dyno results are in,,pump gas 11-1 comp 588 ci. 823 @ 6400 , and 756 @ 4900 cam - 268/278 748/744,,, AFR- 357,, wiseco 15 cc dome,, dynamic comp - 7.85, timing at 33 degrees, we moved a bunch of things around and engine didnt change more than 10hp through all the changes from start to finish. idles nicely around 850 valve lash at about 22 int / 17 ex, runs very quiet for a solid roller................glad its done and ready to go !

well ran the car today,,,something dont work out,,old combo with smaller heads. smaller cam and less compression, beat out the bigger cam larger heads, and more compression,,ended up running 1/4 second slower ??? got to figure out what went wrong !

great to see that you've achieved such a good HP/TQ especially that I am in the process of building a very similar combo.
BBChev 565ci
Early Dart 360s
~ 10.75 comp not finalised yet will probably raise
270&278* cam
1095 single 4bbl & all the other stuff
hope I'm somewhere close 725 or more

Well we are all finished the season up here, had a couple of issues with the trany and convertor, all worked out now, leaving a little soft, on the 2 step at around 4300, car runs a 1.34 60' hit a 9.37 at 143, with a nice cool day. best for the year. I think we`ll try the bottle next year LOL a small shot should easily get me in the 8's for outlaw streetcar and a small tire.

Well for my application, I think if I had to do it over I would go with the 335 heads, I think they would give me a little more velosity, I used to run the 305s, then went right to the 357s, I think they are too much, the engine with the new combination didnt gain much with the way bigger heads.
