548 BBC
1050 Rupert alky carb
33.5x16.5x16 M/T
4:10 gear
launch 4400
shift at 2.00 seconds

8.0's at 166-168 mph

Before the suspension was added to the rear and with a smaller tire, the car ran best of 7.65 at 173 mph. Normally would run mid 7.70's. High gear only, it ran 8.30 at 170 mph. I have not tried the high gear set up yet this year. My gues is going to be 8.50-8.60 range at 165 mph.

SP..... don't pay any attention to the 8.20 dial. Holding 2 tenths is all an optical illusion. We would never try that

Yes, it has been a little stricter this year. They try to walk around and tech everyone right now because the tech stickers are not in. They said you can get tech for the year which will take 30-45 minutes to go over the car front to back or on a 3 month period which is the standard look around to make sure things look right.

The pavement makes the place look larger then it already is. It was always overwhelming to be on the starting line and look down track, but all the new additions make it more impressive.

my car is too fast to race up there, what i mean is, i wouldn't pass tech as i don't have a chute, window net is out dated etc, so i guess i will hafta update or wait till the end of the year to race on a real track looks like ya got a nice dragster there though!

Trust me, Bader is not turning a dollar away. They will tell you what you need to change before running again at the track. A lot of tech warngings being handed out, but no real enforcement that I have seen as of yet.
