Default Street Rod Stall Converter

I have a 1933 ford hi-boy coupe running a TCI built turbo 350 with a 4,000 Stall. Manual valve body. Its strictly a street car. 468 BBC with tunnel ram with 2- 750 edelbrock carbs. Rear end ratio 3:25. 31" tall tires. My problem obviously is that the stall is too high. Any opinions on the following.
1. Change the stall to something more street friendly- 2,200-2,400
2. Change the trans to a 700R4 with 2,200 - 2,400 stall, don't know if I can get by with the 3:25 rear gear.
3. Same as #2 but a manual valve body.
4. Change the trans to a 200-4R

I'm looking for a street friendly car with some better mileage. Currently about 5 miles to the gallon. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
