I have a 1972 monte carlo i bought and it has a junk 700r4 in it. im wanting to swap it out for a 4 speed manual. I dont have alot of motor just a 355 with 461 doublhumps and flat top pistons. Im wanting to know if i should go with a muncie or saginaw or something else. i would like to know what kind of gear ratios you guys prefer. the car will most likely end up with 3.73 or 4.10 rearend gears.
