The rewelded seam is shown on the top picture, from the front down the curve, the front also has damage. When it got here it had a layer of silicon over that weld, the pickup picture does not show where it was welded together, if you look closely you will also see the rear was caved in..the other side and bottom also have damage. The rails have side damage that was hammered flat also.
Again, these are some of the same pictures he sent to trade and they do not show the extent of the damage or the welded pickup. I gave him my pump because of the pan and pickup, neither were useable.
If I could have gotten the pan repaired and sealed, I would have kept the pan...but it would have cost more than a new pan, to do so...
Everyone who looked at it said to start over...DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR. Even Charlies Oils pans, who made it in the first place, would not touch the rails and repairs needed to seal it. I tried it all, PRIOR to sending it back.
