my mustang
i finally got a mustang.just traded the 4 wheeler off. finaly got me a mustang. needs a little bit of work but a good starting point.84 GT ttops flowtech headders,holley 750,cam,edelbrock intake,hurst shifter,BBK quad and adj cabel,new accel wires,cap,rotor.new plugs the car has 87 front end new struts and sway bar and end link bushings needs some interior pieces replaced and paint no rust few dings.

got the hood put on it and the 5" autometer tach put in it. started sanding it and got some under primer.it will take awhile but im getting there.

Yea Avery I think when you put in that new rear side glass it makes the car look more sleek...I LIKEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so avery what wheels are you going to get? My blazer had some wheels on it that I hated, and when I bought my 85 shortbed had them same ones , anyway I vote for some draglites or pro stars!!!!

You can buy the whole car....the tires are nearly new too...I know this much, it is faster that my 79 which I would expect...

I know the feeling..Example...I was wanting to buy 2 used tires for the Z28....They are the low profile Michelins and hard to find used and in good condition...An ole guy I know in the tire business had 4...I asked him how much for 2 and he said $200..I had asked the price for all 4 and it was $200 so needless to say he would not split the set...I bought all four and have 2 for spares as I run smaller on the front than rear.....But I got what I wanted...at a price...but if I find a set I will let you know..Your wanting the 16" right??

Yes it sounds like there is a chance there might be some draglites on there!!!!! Avery I always wanted draglites and last year when I got them it took me 3 weeks to get the courage to drill 32 holes in them beautiful wheels, turned out excellent, and man I like them, I am glad you got the stang, Its nice to see someone get there wish!!!!!

well update on the stang. i had to trade it off to my wife a new car. her explorer was going down hill quick. the wife and kids come first. ill post some pics of the new Blazer i traded for.

Good to have your priorities straight. I agree family comes first. I know some people that would allow their kids to run around shoeless and hungry just to get a jetboat, or a part they need etc. Your a good man Avery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Avery I know you must feel very good about being able to do the right thing and all that tells me is you are a real man. It makes me proud just to know that we still have men that will do the right thing. Thanks for being a man and for that your next car will be. Well just sit back and watch. Good times are on the way.
