E.T., MPH

I ran a 6.996 Elapsed Time at 200.23 MPH during qualifying at the IHRA Suzuki Motor City Nationals in Milan, MI on the weekend of August 24th and 25th, and since then I have ran 6.98 and 6.95 1/4 mile E.T.s with an 1/8 mi E.T. of 4.49.

"I'd tell you (more about our combination,) but then I'd have to kill you" (just kidding). :D

now come on guys we all know that 1/8th mile is for girls! My car is not all that fast (9.63 1?4 mile) but in Canada we would be embarrassed to run an 1/8th

mytmouz 01-07-2008 09:34 PM

Well with the price of land around here, if you run a 1/4, you'll be in the sand trap...

I think for most of us it is what is close to you..not because of other reasons..

spib 01-08-2008 04:21 AM

Jody I hear you on that I wish I had a track that is close, 120 miles one way closest at that, if we had a track real close I would be happy 1/8 or 1/4

SST4530 01-08-2008 05:31 AM

I've been fortunate to have several 1/8 tracks within 30 minutes and the Texas Motorplex an 1 1/2 away. :)

us7race 01-09-2008 03:34 AM

I have 3 1/8th mike tracks within 40minutes from my house and 1 1/4 mile track 2 hours away...been there 1 time and since the truck is setup for the 1/8th didn't get to run the quarter anyway.. 8)

olds48 01-23-2008 08:23 PM

I ran 1/4 mile once in a FED.It was okay.I have run 1/8 a bunch in a door car.I'll take 1/8 over 1/4 anyday.

sds10racer 01-24-2008 07:46 PM

hey spib, don't have a duramax yet, but i do have a hopped up, sorta, 6.5 turbo that pulls the s10 around pretty good and still makes @15mpg up and down a lot of hills.

As usual, I must be the slowest guy here. I had a sbc, a th400 and a 3.73 in a 2800lb. 83 Olds Cutlass that ran 11.83 in the 1/4 on the motor and 10.96 on the juice.

I'll tell you at the end of the year what my blown, injected, 496 powered 68 Chevelle will do. (according to the math, should be in the mid 9's somewhere)
