This car was raced in the late 60s-70s by Jimmy Tinsley, in the Richmond, VA area. The NHRA required a parachute to be installed because of high trap speeds.
I started restoration 5 years ago, replaced structural rust with 16 gauge cold roll plate (I own a sheet metal shop). I then installed a Speedway tube axle kit with Ford disc brake kit. The original 302 cubic inch engine was rebuilt by AM Davis Machine (not started yet). I was able to purchase a 1966 Ford F.E. (360 cubic inch), it is installed with a motor plate and quick time bell housing. Installed on the car is the original side loader 4-speed transmission, rebuilt by S&N Transmissions, the drive shaft is in the car.
The steering is connected to the original steering box. Steering and suspension mocked up, needs final welding. Custom aluminum radiator and custom fender well headers by Brett Hamilton Racing Fabrication. Car is all steel roller. Heart issues for sale. Car is soda blasted, and in green etch primer. Have Clean Virginia title, and all trim + interior items.
