We are engine builders with with a primary focus on high-end LS engines. Our shop has state-of-the-art CNC machinery CNC machinery and engine testing equipment. Our leadership position in our field was validated by winning the Race Engine Builder of the Year award at PRI 2018 and being chosen as LS engine builder for David Ankin’s TV show Toymakerz. Our engines range from street to strip, and from naturally aspirated to boosted. The range of power adders we use includes twin screw and centrifugal superchargers, turbos and nitrous oxide. This provides an incredible range of power and performance options. Nearly all our engines are fuel injected using Holley EFI systems with tuning on our dyno by our Holley trained and certified technicians.
We focus on working directly with a limited number of top-quality parts vendors, and maintaining inventory of the key parts we use. Our typical short block will feature a Dart block, Callies crank and rods, Diamond pistons. The engines will likely have a COMP cam and Manley valves. If its big power, the heads are probably All Pro’s. This business model of limited vendors, inventory and common architecture allows us to sell high-end parts, engines and assemblies on short lead times. Other engine builders or parts suppliers may be waiting months for the back-ordered products that we have on the shelf.
Our vendors have been carefully vetted, often with on-site visits to their manufacturing facilities such as shown in these videos shot at All Pro Cylinder Heads, Callies and Bullseye . We have a strong preference for Made in the USA. These manufacturers need to demonstrate that their products, technology and service are going to help us put out the best possible engines as measured by performance, value, durability and reliability. Our key suppliers provide us with ongoing technical support and often show us their newest technology prior to market introduction. If there is a problem, they’ll take our call and help us work through it. When you buy a Borowski-built engine, you’re getting a product that has a lot behind it.
