The Amphicar is an antique classic vehicle that combines the capabilities of a car and a boat. Designed and built in Germany starting in 1961, only 4000 were produced before production ended in 1968. The Amphicar has a four-cylinder engine that produces 43 brake horsepower and drives the rear wheels. It is also equipped with two propellers that can propel the vehicle in the water. The Amphicar has a fiberglass body and can reach speeds of up to seven knots when cruising in the water. Its high ground clearance makes it suitable for on-road driving as well. It can also carry up to four passengers and has very comfortable seats.
