In 1993, Corvette reached the 40-year milestone , Chevrolet celebrated with a special-order 40th Anniversary Package.
This option was Priced at $1,455, the 40th Anniversary package was available in both standard and ZR1 models and included an eye-catching Ruby Red Metallic exterior finish, Ruby Red leather Sport seats, power driver seat, special wheel center trim and 40th anniversary emblems inside and out. On convertible models so equipped, even the folding soft top was constructed of a matching Ruby Red material. And This One Has Special Factory CHROME wheels.
To Corvette enthusiasts enjoying the car’s new-found performance, the 40th Anniversary Package was beautiful and iconic, Standard horsepower had shot from 245 to 300 HP the previous year, followed by an increase in torque from 330 to 340 lb-ft.
