This is a 1989 Z51 Corvette, I have owned it for about 7 years. This is a fairly rare C4 Corvette as it has every North American option except for the Twin turbo Callaway option which is really not a Chevrolet built option and the only worldwide option it doesn’t have it K05 which is the block heater which was only offered in Canada.
Here is a list of the options it has:
RPO: Option: QTY Build:
AC1 Power Passenger Seat 20,578
AC3 Power Driver Seat 25,606
AQ9 Sport Seats, leather 1,777
B4P Radiator Boost Fan 20,281

KC4 Engine Oil Cooler 20,162
MN6 6-Speed Manual Transmission 4,113
UJ6 Low Tire Pressure Warning Indicator 6,976
UU8 Stereo System, Delco-Bose 24,145
V01 Heavy-Duty Radiator 20,888
Z51 Performance Handling Package (coupe) 2,224
Back in the early 90’s when the ZR1 came out many people loved the ZR1 rear bumper and it was a common after market procedure to replace the factory bumper with a ZR1 looking bumper. This car does come with a used factory (red) bumper in case you want to have it painted and return to stock look.
The paint is overall fair to good with what looks like small touch ups here and there. Doesn’t look to have ever been in an accident that damaged the fiberglass. Interior is pretty good for its age but leather is getting hard. Clear top has a creak. Also comes with a white solid top.
Over the past few years I have replaced a number of items to keep up on maintenance and things just getting old:
Spark Plugs
Spark Plugs Wires
Distributor Cap
Ignition module
Coil
TPS sensor
IAC Valve
Coolant Sensor
MAF Sensor
Speed Sensor (updated version)
New injectors
Stop Tech brake pads
Good wrench brake hoses.
Castrol synthetic trans fluid and engine oil.
It could use some new tires as these are getting old. The front windshield has some very little strange bubbles in it. Passenger headlight doesn’t rotate all the way. Stereo works but has a whining nose in the background.
AC blows cold and has never had to be charged since I have owned it.
Overall, it is a good driver and a great future collectable.
Comes with Laminated Window Sticker, Buildsheet, Original Sales brochure and Corvette fever Magazine for the 1989 Corvette
