This '57 Chevy Bel-Air Sport Coupe had a complete frame-off with Best of Show quality restoration and was completed in August 2013.

Call: Russ Lindley at (408) 707-0929 for more information on this fully modified 1957 Bel- Air is 4-sale at a reduced price of
$85,000 or best offer

• I had (Paul Newman of Car Creations, Inc.) in Templeton, CA put a '95 Corvette C4 Front & Rear suspension on the original '57 frame with his custom bearing kit. This caused a smoother ride on the independent suspension. Paul welded in a front Vette engine cradle for mounting an LS motor and removed the stock firewall and replaced it with a smoothed / painted blue firewall 4” back. This allowed for a more balanced, center of gravity for performance handling. All engine wiring and the ECM were ran and placed under the dash for a clean no-wire look.

• It has rack/pinion steering 88-96 standard 2-1/2 turn with an (IDIDIT) steering column and a custom (Budnick) steering wheel.

• The driveshaft is a critical link carbon fiber racing shaft from (Precision Shaft Technology) Part # NCC52 and is hooked to the ’95 Vette DANA-44 rear-end third member with a 392-pinion gear ratio.

• It has 3" aluminum dual exhaust out from rear bumper that also go into Delta 2 (Flowmaster mufflers.) The piping goes into the middle of the crossmembers of the modified frame, so it doesn’t sit below the frame. It has no headers, just the stock exhaust LS3 manifolds.

• I also installed a thin 26-gallon (Rock Valley) stainless steel fuel tank with an external supply only fuel line. I removed the original spare tire well to fit the tank underneath. Going easy on flat road, it can get up to 23mph in 6th gear when you don't get on it!

• It also has 4-Bilstein shocks with two 500lb. rated mono-spring for the front /rear suspension.

• I dropped a stock 2011 Camaro LS3, 6.2-Liter fuel injected engine in this Chevy, which it now currently has 11,362 miles on it. The original engine was taken out of a running 2011 Camaro with 4,910 miles on it. The engine has 455hp at the clutch and 410hp at the rear wheels (available graph from Synergy Motorsports).

• The 6.2 liter LS3 engine was kept stock except for flashing the ROM, new engine wiring harness from Howell, (big reduction in engine wiring). I made a custom fiber-glass throttle air induction tubing with a Spectre air filter. No wires are visible in the engine area and the ECM is under the dash.

* A new manual 6-speed transmission which is the (Tremec Magnum Pro touring 6-speed) part # TUET11009 (.63 final overdrive). It was also installed with a GM flywheel GM part # 12571611 and the GM clutch/pressure plate is GM part # 24255748.

• It has a (Be-Cool) aluminum 3-core radiator with dual (SPAL) electric pull fans. There is no AC nor heater.

• The battery is 1 year old and was installed in the rear trunk shelf using thick bus electric cable thru the passenger side of the body frame.

• I installed all new wiring from the (American Auto Wiring kit) from headlight to taillights and the main fuse panel placed inside the driver’s side kick panel. All lights are LED's.

• It has 4-wheel power disc brakes that have new (BAER) (Part # 4301013 1988-1996 years 13” front track system) and clear anodized rear rotors (part # 55012-020. These brakes are powered through the power-steering system called (Hydratech braking system: Model 3510) (www.hydratechbraking.com). This provides about 1200 psi to the brake system (stops on a dime!)

• The 18-inch Rims are from a 2008 Corvette Z06 and the tires are (Michelins A/S SPT Pilot) (front sized at: 275/35R18) and (rear sized at: 235/40R18). I did not have to tub the rear since the rear suspension filled the wheel well nicely and with a great stance.

• The body was professionally done by (CS Restoration in San Jose) and (D-Rods Street Rods). It was professionally blasted, primed, body straight and painted properly. It has 5 coats of gray primer, 5 coats of 2-stage PPG stock 2011 Toyota Tacoma speedway metallic blue (code 8P1) with added 6 clear coats and color sanded.

• All stainless and Chrome was professionally polished in San Jose and has the one-piece smoothie front / rear California bumpers.

• It has all LED lighting including a (3rd brake light in the Chevy trunk V) and has integrated turn signal lights in mirrors

• The gauges are from (Dakota Digital) and has the Dakota Digital VHX Carbon fiber with Blue accent gauges

• Radio is from (AutoSound) which is a Kenwood 500 and has tape deck with AM/FM and speakers.

• Bucket seats are from a 1964 Impala and that has been fabricated in Vinyl light gray leather with bright blue seat inserts and gray german square weaved carpet done by (Bascom Trim/Upholstery in Santa Clara, CA). I had to custom make the seat supports for these buckets and installed front bucket seat lap belts.

• Custom gray/blue carpeted trunk.

• I installed the (Pacific Western Design) Raingear Windshield Wiper System that is located under the dash.

• All new gray tinted glass from (Auto City Classic) was installed with new rubber in 2013
