1987 Porsche 924S built to run HPDE and Track Days with the future ability to qualify for 944 Spec with NASA. The car is street legal and registered in SC with a SC Title in the owner's name.
This car was built in the summer of 2020 with regular track use and maintenance since then. The car last passed tech and ran in October 2022. The suspension, engine, roll cage, wheels, and car itself were all built for someone to be able to move up to 944 Spec with any updated seating, harness, safety, and tire requirements needed at that time. The engine and transmission are all stock and have no modifications. There is an extensive list of work and time that has been put into this car. A list of those key items include coil over front suspension, new rear torsion bars, torsion bar adjustment holes cut in the body, new rear shocks, fuel pump and filters, fuel injectors and fuel rail, refreshed head and head gasket, timing belt, balance shaft belt, water pump and hoses, power steering pump and lines, new rebuilt power steering rack & pinion(installed and aligned at Touring Car), wider 944 wheels with Toyo R888R tires, custom roll cage built and installed by a regular NASA-SE cage builder, suspension and weight corner balanced with driver weight in seat, and interior stripped and heat insulation coating applied.
The car comes with three bins full of track back-up parts that includes a brand new front & rear set of rotors and track pads.
This car was built after I ran out of talent and hit the wall at Road Atlanta so my wife would have a safe and economical Track Day car. She's stuck with driving her original car and I have a dedicated track car that I drive. We don't use this car as much as someone else can and I'm ready to not maintain three track cars. All the break-in items of a new build have been sorted and the car is now ready for someone to use.
