About Me
I was born and raised in NE Georgia. I retired from the Wrigley gum factory in Gainesville and started working on classic cars full time. I currently own a classic car restoration business and have restored several Mopars.
My first car was a 66 Dodge Coronet 500, 318 automatic. I was 17 years old when I bought the car. I loved the body style but could not buy a 4 speed or big block car due to a prior instance with the local state patrol and an unauthorized street race. Insurance would not give me coverage. I later upgraded to a 70 Plymouth RR, B5 blue, 3 speed manual in the floor with 383 HP. Yes, it had the vacuum hood scoop. I traded that car in for a new 72 truck, which I still own today. I been looking for another 66 Coronet to build, my original 66 car will probably never surfsce again but I will never stop looking.
