1948 Pontiac Silverstreak - 2 Door Sedan

If you are tired of seeing the same old street rods and muscle cars at car shows then you need to spend some time checking this car out. Nobody likes pulling into a show seeing 10 cars just like theirs lined up and with this classic we can guarantee that won't be the case. If you want a car that stands out in the crowd, this is it. The incredibly unique 1948 Pontiac body gives you that street rod feel while being totally different from most other cars out there. Being a 2 door fastback the car has an extremely streamline look and from the side profile looks like it was destined to be the hot rod of its decade. Cars like this are getting more difficult to find and you rarely see them cruising around which is part of the reason people love them so much. They have seen 32 Fords and 69 Camaros, but maybe can't even picture what a 48 Pontiac would look like. The steel body of the car is very straight and was nicely painted a two tone Sapphire Blue and Silver that looks perfect gracing the body lines. All of the original style stainless is cleanly mounted in place and has a clean finish. A large chrome grill sits up front and chrome bumpers are found both in the front and rear. The glass is free from any damage and has been topped with a nice tint which accents the paint well. The car has a great stance and sits on polished out Weld Racing wheels that look perfect under each corner.

Powering the car is a 454 Chevrolet LT1 motor that was built to run well. It was entirely balanced and blueprinted professionally giving you great performance and reliability. A carter ABF 750cfm high pro carburetor tops it all off. The motor has been dressed up with multiple chrome components including a flame circle air cleaner, polished finned valve covers, a chrome alternator, cool flex hoses and more! The engine compartment was painted to match the Sapphire Blue on the body which really cleans up the look under the hood. Backing the motor is a 400 Turbo transmission with an added shift kit. This transfers horsepower back through the driveshaft and into the Ford 9" rear end with 3:25 gears. A later model 1979 Camaro clip was added up front for better suspension and a smooth ride. Power steering is in place as are power brakes which make the car incredibly easy to drive. Other nice features include the fully polished 20 gallon gas tank.

The interior of the car was entirely redone creating a nice combination of vintage original and more modern components. The after market high back bucket seats are very comfortable as is the matching bench back seat. The upholster was completed in a combo of cloth and leather which works well together. This echoes the silver and blue combo found on the body. An aftermarket console sits between the seats housing the shifter and an extra storage compartment. The dash has a more vintage look but has also been upgraded with features like VDO gauges, an AM/FM/CD player and vintage AC vents. A tilt steering column was also added for extra comfort and was painted silver to match the dash.

As you have read this is one cool classic that has a TON to offer. It is a great driver and has a unique look that you rarely see. If you have ever wanted to impress a bunch nostalgic hot rodders you need to be pulling up in something like this!

Make this classic yours for only $28,750.00!
